How It Works

Maintenance
To ensure the media continues to oxidize contaminants effectively:

Regeneration: When the oxidizing capacity is exhausted, the bed must be regenerated using a weak Potassium Permanganate (KMnO_4) solution.

Proactive Care: Vigorously backwash and regenerate the bed before its capacity is totally exhausted to prevent staining and extend the media’s service life.

Replacement Cycle: Replace the media every 3 Years (or as calculated based on your specific water analysis and usage).
