Feed Water Requirements
To prevent premature fouling of the hollow fibers, feed water should meet:
- Pre-Filtration: Mandatory ≤5 micron mechanical screening (depth or pleated cartridge)
- Free Chlorine: ≤1.0 ppm continuous (up to 2,000 ppm permitted for transient shock sanitization)
- Dissolved Iron (Fe): <0.30 ppm
- Dissolved Manganese (Mn): <0.05 ppm
