The BlueSpot Water Pleated Filter Cartridge is a high-performance, cost-effective solution for removing heavy sediment from your water supply. Its unique accordion-style pleated design provides a massive surface area—significantly larger than standard melt-blown filters. This enables it to capture a higher volume of dirt, sand, and silt, delivering superior dirt-holding capacity and maintaining high flow rates even in challenging water conditions.

How It Works

• Surface Capture: The pleated media acts as a high-capacity screen. As water passes through, sediment is trapped on the outer surface of the pleats.

• The Result: Use it as a powerful standalone filter for irrigation/garden use or as an essential pre-filter to protect sensitive downstream systems like Reverse Osmosis (RO) or UV Sterilizers.

Maintenance: The Single-Wash Rule

While the Pleated Filter is washable, it is intended as a temporary measure to restore flow.

• The Rule: You can rinse the filter once to clear heavy blockages. After a wash, the structural integrity of the pleats begins to degrade.

• Replacement Interval: Regardless of washing, replace the filter every 6 to 12 months.

• Sign of Failure: If water flow remains low even after washing, or if the filter media appears frayed or stained, it is time for a new cartridge.
