Maintenance:

Regular Maintenance (Weekly to Bi-Weekly)

• Check Water Level and Clarity: Regularly check the water level to know when to refill. Visually inspect the water for any cloudiness or floating particles. If the water appears dirty, it's a sign that the purification system feeding the tank may need maintenance, or the tank itself needs a more thorough cleaning.

• Wipe Down the Exterior: Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe down the exterior of the tank to remove dust and smudges. This keeps the glass clear and looking good.

Scheduled Maintenance

(Every 1-3 Months)

• Drain and Clean the Interior: To prevent biofilm or algae growth, it is recommended to fully drain the tank every 1-3 months, depending on use.

• Wash the Interior: Use a soft sponge or brush and a mild, non-abrasive, food-safe cleaning solution (like a mix of vinegar and water or a specialized cleaner). Scrub the interior walls to remove any film or residue. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, as they can scratch the glass.

• Rinse Thoroughly: After cleaning, rinse the tank multiple times with clean water to ensure no cleaning residue is left behind.

Annual Maintenance (Once a Year)

• Deep Clean: Perform a more thorough deep clean, as described above. If the tank is connected to a purification system, this is a good time to service the filters and lines leading to the tank as well.

• Inspect Seals and Connections: Check the seal around the dispenser tap and any other connections for leaks. The glass itself is very durable, but the connection points can wear over time.

• Inspect for Cracks: Carefully inspect the glass for any small cracks or chips that could compromise the tank's structural integrity. Even a tiny crack can worsen under pressure from a full tank.
