What is in the Box? (The 3 Stages)

• Stage 1: 5 Micron Polypropylene (PP) Sediment Filter

  • Function: Removes sand, silt, rust, and dirt. This stage improves water clarity and protects the carbon filters from clogging.

• Stage 2: Granular Activated Carbon (GAC/UDF) Filter

  • Function: Utilizes high-porosity carbon to adsorb free chlorine, bad tastes, and unpleasant odors.

    • Function: A compressed carbon block that provides final, superior removal of remaining chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

Maintenance & Installation

• Replacement Interval: Typically every 6 to 12 months. If you notice a drop in water pressure or a return of chlorine taste, replace the kit immediately.

• Installation Tip: When installing, ensure the GAC filter (Stage 2) is oriented correctly according to its rubber gaskets. It is recommended to flush the carbon filters for 2–3 minutes after installation to remove any fine carbon dust.
