The purpose of the mineral ball filter is to replace the minerals that are naturally present in water, but are removed during the RO process.

RO systems remove impurities and contaminants from water by forcing it through a semi-permeable membrane, which can also remove beneficial minerals along with the impurities.

By using a mineral ball filter, you can restore some of these essential minerals to your drinking water, which can be beneficial for your health.

Maintenance:

The Mineral Ball Filter has a lifespan based on its capacity to release minerals.

• Replacement Interval: The filter media will deplete over time. We recommend replacing the Mineral Ball Filter every 12 months to ensure consistent mineral content and flavour in your purified water.

• Indicator: The main sign it needs replacement is when the water's flavour profile returns to the flat, de-mineralized taste characteristic of pure RO water.
