How It Works

• The UV Process: As water passes through the stainless steel chamber, it flows around the high-intensity 25W UVC lamp.

• DNA Disruption: Concentrated 254nm light rays penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and viruses, permanently damaging their genetic material.

• The Result: The pathogens are "biologically inactivated." They can no longer reproduce, meaning they cannot cause infection. The water remains chemically pure and retains all natural minerals.

Maintenance Schedule

To ensure your family remains protected, adhere to these service intervals:

• Replace UV Lamp: Every 9,000 hours (Approx. 12 months). The lamp loses its germicidal strength over time, even if it is still glowing.

• Clean Quartz Sleeve: Every 6 months. Scale or mineral cloudiness will block UV rays, creating "safe zones" for bacteria.

• Replace Quartz Sleeve: Every 2 years, or immediately if permanently stained, scratched, or cracked.

Essential "Good to Know"

• Pre-Filtration is Mandatory: UV light cannot penetrate "shadows" cast by suspended sediment or dirt. You must have a 5-micron (or smaller) sediment filter installed before this unit.

• No Residual Kill: UV disinfection happens only inside the chamber. Ensure that your pipes and tanks downstream are sanitized before starting the system.

• Fragile Components: UV lamps and quartz sleeves are made of glass and are extremely fragile. Collection is highly recommended as standard couriers carry a high risk of breakage.
