Description :

The   (    is a durable, high-capacity, and lightweight solution engineered for the most demanding water treatment applications. This advanced composite material is ideal for both commercial and industrial systems, including chemical plants, water filtration, and high-purity applications where reliability under pressure is essential. Featuring 4-inch top and bottom openings, this vessel is designed for heavy-duty distribution systems

Features :

  • Corrosion Resistance: Inherently resistant to a wide range of acids and alkaline substances, offering superior lifespan compared to metal tanks.

  • Lightweight and Strong: Weighs one-third less than stainless steel alternatives, making it easier to handle and install while maintaining high strength and impact resistance.

  • Safety and Durability: Features excellent flame retardant properties, good insulation, and an anti-aging design for a long service life of over 20 years.

  • Food-Grade Materials: Made from high-performance, food-grade quality materials, including composite and fiberglass filament windings.

  • Dual Large Openings: 4" Top and Bottom Openings for superior flow and complex distribution systems

What does it do:

The Vessel FRP 3672 serves as the primary containment vessel for large-scale water treatment media. Its fundamental purpose is to safely and durably house the media (such as sand, activated carbon, or ion exchange resin) under the required system pressure (up to 150 psi). The -     are crucial, as they allow for the installation of high-flow commercial distribution systems. This dual-port design facilitates superior flow patterns and is often necessary for industrial systems that require either a central piping system or separate access for specialised loading, unloading, and cleaning processes. It is the core physical component of any commercial or industrial water filter or softener system.

Good to know:

  • This FRP vessel is 100% corrosion and rust-proof.

  • It is designed exclusively for water applicationsDo not use it for pneumatic or hydro-pneumatic applications. For all other uses, manufacturer approval is required.

Maintenance:

The V3672 FRP Pressure Vessel itself requires virtually no maintenance due to its 100% corrosion and rust-proof FRP construction. Unlike steel tanks, it will not rust or degrade from contact with water or water treatment chemicals.

However, general system maintenance involves:

  1. Media Replacement/Recharge: Regular backwash/regeneration cycles, controlled by an automatic head (if installed), are essential. The media inside the vessel (e.g., carbon, sand, or resin) will require eventual replacement or periodic recharging (if using softener resin).

  2. External Inspection: Periodically check the exterior of the vessel for any signs of physical impact, deep scratches, or leaks, particularly around the 4-inch top and bottom openings where control heads or plumbing connections are attached.

  3. Temperature/Pressure Monitoring: Ensure the operating pressure remains below the 150 psi maximum and the water temperature stays within the specified 1C – 29C range to guarantee the long-term structural integrity of the vessel.
