How It Works

• The Disc Stack: Water is forced through a series of grooved plastic discs compressed tightly together. These grooves trap sand and debris while allowing clean water to pass through.

Maintenance

The Disc Filter is designed for incredibly simple upkeep:

• No Cartridges to Change: Simply unscrew the housing, remove the disc stack, and rinse under clean water.

• Quick Cleaning: The grooved discs can be loosened for deep cleaning and rinsed off in seconds.

• Micron vs. Mesh: A 130-micron rating is roughly equivalent to a 120-mesh screen. This is the standard "sweet spot" for preventing clogs in drip tape and micro-sprinklers.
