Description
The Vontron ULP21-4040 is a premier Ultra-Low Pressure (ULP) aromatic polyamide compound membrane element. Newly developed for energy efficiency, it operates at approximately two-thirds of the pressure of regular low-pressure membranes while maintaining an exceptionally high salt rejection rate.

What Does It Do?
Vontron ULP series membranes act as a molecular-level barrier to provide ultra-pure water:

Maintenance & Operating Limits
To ensure a lifespan of 2 to 5 years, strict adherence to feedwater conditions is required:

Pre-treatment: Feedwater must have an SDI < 5 and a residual chlorine concentration of < 0.1 ppm to avoid permanent membrane damage.

Continuous Operation pH: 3 to 10.

Chemical Cleaning pH: 2 to 12 (Allows for aggressive cleaning to restore flux).

Initial Flush: For the first use, flush at low pressure for 15–25 minutes, then high pressure for 60–90 minutes. Discard all permeate from the first hour.
