Description :

This locally supported, compact commercial Reverse Osmosis (RO) system is engineered to deliver a consistent supply of high-purity water at a rate of approximately 250 Liters Per Hour (LPH). It is an affordable and efficient solution for small-to-medium enterprises requiring demineralized water for processes, bottling, or pre-treatment. The 2000 GPD Commercial RO Purifier is a durable, skid-mounted water purification unit designed for commercial reliability. Delivering TDS rejection of 96% to 99%, it effectively transforms municipal or pre-treated borehole/well water (up to ) into high-quality permeate. Its design prioritizes ease of installation and operation, making it ideal for car washes, coffee roasters, small water shops, and light industrial applications across the local market.

Features :

  • Optimal Flow Rate: Consistent 250 LPH () output for commercial needs.

  • Integrated Booster Pump: High-efficiency pump ensures optimal operating pressure for maximum TDS rejection.

  • Compact Skid Design: Space-saving and pre-assembled on a corrosion-resistant frame (often SS304).

  • Pressure & Flow Monitoring: Includes pressure gauges and flow meters for easy performance tracking.

  • Safety & Control: Features automatic controls such as a low-pressure switch to protect the pump and membranes.

  • TDS Reduction: Removes 95% to 99% of dissolved solids, mineral salts, and heavy metals.

  • Contaminant Removal: Effectively eliminates chlorine, suspended particles, bad tastes, odours, various chemical contaminants, viruses and bacteria. That can be harmful to production processes and / or human consumption or contact.

What does it do:

Reverse osmosis operates by utilising a high-pressure pump to raise the pressure on the raw water side, compelling water to pass through a semi-permeable RO membrane of 0.001 microns. This process effectively retains approximately 95% to 99% of dissolved minerals in the reject stream, producing clean permeate water.

Good to know:

  • Required Pre-treatment: To protect the RO membrane and achieve the expected lifespan, proper pre-filtration (sediment and carbon) is non-negotiable. If the feed water is hard or has iron, a water softener or iron removal filter must be installed upstream.

  • Waste Water: RO is a separation process; a portion of the feed water (concentrate) is rejected to the drain, typically at a ratio of to (product to waste).

  • Limits: Best performance is achieved when feed water TDS is below 2,000 ppm.

  • Pressure Dependent: Requires a functional booster pump to achieve optimal permeate flow and TDS rejection.

  • Pre-Filtration is Critical: The lifespan and efficiency of the RO membrane are heavily dependent on the quality of the sediment and carbon filters. move to the good to know section
