What does it do:

Reverse osmosis operates by utilising a high-pressure pump to raise the pressure on the raw water side, compelling water to pass through a semi-permeable RO membrane of 0.001 microns. This process effectively retains approximately 95% to 99% of dissolved minerals in the reject stream, producing clean permeate water.

The system converts standard municipal or pre-treated water into high-purity water. It excels at:

  • TDS Reduction: Removes 95% to 99% of dissolved solids, mineral salts, and heavy metals.

  • Contaminant Removal: Effectively eliminates chlorine, suspended particles, bad tastes, odours, various chemical contaminants, viruses and bacteria. That can be harmful to production processes and / or human consumption or contact.

  • Water Quality Improvement: Produces demineralized water ideal for applications where mineral buildup or chemical impurities are problematic.

  • Waste Stream: RO systems naturally produce a 'reject' or concentrate stream containing the removed contaminants. This stream is typically sent to a drain.
