Local reverse osmosis (RO) systems are among the most economical solutions for treating boiler feedwater, makeup water for cooling towers, and industrial process water. Additionally, reverse osmosis can be employed to generate demineralized water, eliminating the need to manage and dispose of hazardous chemicals.

How Does Reverse Osmosis Function? Reverse osmosis operates by utilizing a high-pressure pump to raise the pressure on the side containing salt, compelling water to pass through a semi-permeable RO membrane. This process effectively retains approximately 95% to 99% of dissolved salts in the reject stream.
