Maintenance:

Backwash Cycle Weekly or Bi-weekly (or when flow slows down)Turn the Manual Head to the BACKWASH position. Allow water to run to drain until the discharge water is clear of trapped sediment.

Rinse Cycle After Every Backwash Turn the Manual Head to the RINSE position. This is a short cycle (2-5 minutes) to settle the media bed before returning to service.

Return to ServiceAfter Rinse Cycle Turn the Manual Head to the SERVICE (Filter) position to resume normal filtration.

Media Replacement Every $\text{5}$ years or more Due to the hardness and stability of Clino media, replacement is infrequent. Monitor filtration performance to determine necessity.
