Description :

The Complete Clino 844 Vessel is a compact, high-performance filtration system designed for superior turbidity and sediment removal in residential and light commercial water applications. This system utilizes Clino Media (a specialized, highly processed natural Zeolite called Clinoptilolite) which offers filtration capabilities far superior to traditional sand filters. Its unique microporous structure and ion-exchange properties allow it to capture finer particles and various low-level contaminants, resulting in exceptionally clear and clean water. The 8" x 44" vessel size is ideal for installations where space is a constraint, and the manual head offers simple, non-electric operation

Features :

  • Superior Filtration Performance: Achieves filtration of sediment down to micron, significantly better than standard media.

  • Clino Media Technology: Based on Clinoptilolite Zeolite with unique absorption and ion-exchange capabilities.

  • Removes Finer Particles: Provides higher clarity and cleaner water output.

  • Reduced Backwash Frequency: High solid loading capability allows for longer filter runs.

  • Saves Water & Energy: Reduced pressure drop and lower backwash requirements save operational costs.

  • Natural & Environmentally Friendly: Utilizes a highly processed natural mineral.

  • Manual Control Head: Reliable, non-electric valve for easy, user-controlled backwash.

What does it do:

The Clino 844 vessel performs water purification through two primary mechanisms:

  1. Mechanical Filtration: The microporous, highly stable structure of the Clino Media physically traps sediment and turbidity particles down to the 3-5 micron range.

  2. Ion Exchange & Adsorption: The negatively charged channels within the Zeolite's "honeycomb" structure allow it to adsorb or exchange various positively charged contaminants, including low levels of:

    • Ammonium

    • Heavy Metals (Lead, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Cadmium, Zinc, Cobalt, Chromium)

Good to know:

  • What is Clino Media? Clino Media is a natural Zeolite (Clinoptilolite) formed from ancient volcanic activity. Its crystalline, aluminum-silicate structure with charged channels makes it uniquely effective for filtration and contaminant capture.

  • System Size: The 844 vessel is considered a compact size, highly suitable for a small-to-medium residential property or as a dedicated fine sediment pre-filter for commercial systems.

  • ( Bag): The (1) 1T indicates that the system is supplied with one bag (25kg) of Clino-x Filter Media, which is the required capacity for this size vessel.

Maintenance:

The Clino Media in the 844 vessel requires periodic backwashing using the Manual Head to clean the trapped sediment and re-fluff the media bed.

  • Backwash Cycle: Turn the valve to the BACKWASH setting (typically once per week, or when pressure drop indicates) to flush contaminants to drain.

  • Rinse Cycle: Follow with a RINSE cycle to settle the media.

  • Media Life: Clino Media is highly stable; it is typically not consumed like pH correction media and has a very long service life before needing replacement.
