Description :

The Complete pH Correction 1465 Vessel is a high-capacity, whole-house water filtration system designed to neutralize acidic water (low pH) commonly found in boreholes and well points. Acidic water is highly corrosive, leading to the staining of fixtures and premature failure of plumbing, especially copper and brass components. This system effectively raises the pH using natural Calcite media (calcium carbonate), protecting your entire water distribution system and eliminating the metallic or sour taste associated with corrosive water. The 14" x 65" FRP tank size ensures a large media volume for extended contact time and high-flow domestic or light commercial applications.

Features :

  • High-Flow Vessel: Durable, corrosion-proof fiberglass tank suitable for large households and businesses.

  • Natural Neutralization: Uses NSF-certified Calcite media to slowly dissolve and raise water pH.

  • Manual Control Head (): Simple, reliable valve that requires no electricity and allows the user to easily backwash the system when necessary.

  • Protect Your Plumbing: Prevents the leaching of heavy metals like copper and lead from your plumbing system.

  • Improves Water Quality: Removes metallic tastes and stabilizes the water, making it safer and more palatable.

What does it do:

This system performs pH correction by passing acidic water through a deep bed of Calcite media. When the acidic water contacts the media, a chemical reaction occurs (), which slowly raises the water's pH to a neutral or slightly alkaline level (pH 7.0 - 7.5). This process eliminates the corrosive properties of the water and protects all downstream fixtures and appliances.

Good to know:

  • Upsizing: The 1465 model is an excellent choice for homes with 3 to 4 bathrooms, a high number of occupants, or for light commercial use, as it minimizes pressure drop at higher flow rates.

  • Media Consumption: The Calcite media is sacrificial, meaning it is slowly consumed during the pH correction process. It will need to be topped up (not fully replaced) every 6 to 18 months, depending on your water's acidity and usage.

  • Maintenance (Backwash): The manual head requires occasional backwashing (typically once a week or every 10 days) to clean the media bed and prevent channeling.
