What does it do:

The F56A1 is a Multiport Valve (MPV) that mounts on top of a filter vessel. It allows the user to manually control the operational mode of the filter media—typically Service (filtering), Backwash (cleaning the media), and Rinse (compacting the media before returning to service). This function is critical for maintaining the efficiency and longevity of filter media like sand or activated carbon
