System with a Pump: Necessity

A booster pump is required for your water filtration system (especially Reverse Osmosis systems) when the incoming municipal water pressure is too low to force water through the fine membranes efficiently.

Condition Necessity Result Without Pump
Water Pressure is Below 3 bar (approx. 45 psi) Pump is Necessary Very slow production, high water wastage, and lower purification effectiveness.
Water Pressure is Above 3 bar (approx. 45 psi) Pump is Not Necessary The system will operate optimally.

The pump increases pressure to ensure high purity and fast production rates.
